CZECH YOUTH AND JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

On Saturday, September 10, 2022 after noon, the 2022 Czech Youth and Junior Championship will be held concurrently with the AGE Groups, relays and paratriathlon.  This Czech Championship will start junior and youth male and female categories separately.  Triathletes in the junior and youth categories will experience top-notch service and an atmosphere comparable to Sunday’s World Cup race for elite athletes.

The same courses as for the elite athletes in half distances of 0.7-20-5 km. Competitors can expect attractive courses that are renowned around the world for their fairness, difficulty and ruggedness.

The swimming part will take place at the Rolava natural swimming pool, from where the competitors will move by bicycle to the cycling circuit. The second transition area and the finish are located on the Theatre Square. The running course is situated around the most important colonnades in the valley of the Teplá River.

There will be facilities and services for spectators, parking and mass bus transportation between the main race venues will be provided.

Race regulations

In the AGE Groups race, the 2022 CTA race regulations and the official race programme apply. The organizers reserve the right to make necessary changes.
Special regulations:

  • The organizer has the right to limit the number of starting triathletes.
  • The cycling race course will be closed. Dangerous places will be secured by the police and organizers. The triathletes are obliged to follow the road traffic regulations!
  • All triathletes start at their own risk.
  • Only road bikes are allowed! Mountain, trekking, time trial and similar bikes are not allowed.
  • The bike helmet is compulsory!!!

    0.7 km swimming (1 lap on the Rolava Open Air Areal)
    20.0 km cycling (wavy terrain, approach + 3 laps in the town centre, closed-up race course)
    5 km running (flat, 2 laps)

    Starting fee is payable by September 5, 2022 and credited to the organizer´s account or in cash at the presentation.

    Payment of the starting fee is possible on the venue during the registration ONLY upon individual agreeement..

    For each payment the triathlete has to present a payment slip – printed or electronically on the cellphone.

    Each triathlete will receive

    A race respilon
    Refreshment during the race and after the race
    The organizer is entitled to decide whether some triathyears of agee will be freed from the payment of starting fee.
    The organizer will not return the starting fee to the absent triathletes.
