For the elite triathletes there is a very attractive race courses ready. They are known for their fairness, difficulty and variability round the world.

Swimming course will be located on the Lake Rolava. From there triathletes will move to a cycling course with its laps. The second transition area and the finish line will be situated on the Theatre square. The running course will be leading past the most important colonnades in the valley of the Teplá river.

In this race, athletes will compete for valuable points for the qualification to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and the 2023 World Cup series, as well as a total prize money of $60,000.

For spectators there will be facilities and services, such as parking and shuttle bus transportation between the main locations of the race, available.

Race regulations

The WC race the World Triathlon and the official race regulations and programme apply.
The Local Organising Commitee reserve the right to make changes.

Race courses

1.5 km swimming (Rolava Open Air Areal, 2 laps)
40.0 km cycling (hilly terrain, accompanying lap + 7 laps in the town centre, closed-up race course)
10.0 km running (flat, 4 laps)

Registration

Czech triathletes are registered for the start at the World Cup through their national federation directly in the World Triathlon system. It means to use the Czech Triathlon Association!

Please address your application to Mr. Antonín Bauer, CTA secretary general, at the emai address triatlon@triatlon.cz. First it has to be approved by the sports committee of the CTA, by August 31, 2023 at the latest. The Czech Triathlon Association reserves the right to rule the triathletes start.
